1. If you have bought from us already, but not set up a password for the website, you need to know your account number with us, and the postcode of the invoicing address on our system. Look these up on any invoice or communication from us.
2. Go to www.widget.com website, and click in the box in the top right hand corner, where it says "please login" or just click here to go directly to the login page
3. If you have ordered before, but not used the website click the 'Existing Customer' link.
4. Here is where you need to know your account
number and postcode. The password it asks for is the one you need to set so that
you can come back to the website next time.
In fact, the order tracking and account management features you get to by logging in are just the tip of the iceberg. Trade customers can order by XML and receive automatic acknowledgement, we can do this too, but this needs a bit more setup and needs to be discussed with your account manager.
More than one person at each customer can be registered to use the website - you just have to be set up as a contact in our sales management system. If someone else has the login details at your organisation, just ask your account representative at Widget to add you as well.

Come to stand 280 at the Channel Expo in Birmingham next
week, and you can meet face to face with directors and staff from Widget, and representatives from TomTom, Flip Video and Dymo.
As
well as demonstrating the latest models from the TomTom IQ Routes
range, Widget's aim is to show that the Flip Video range is available
to the UK trade, including the new MinoHD, from UK
distribution.

Reviews continue to pour praise on the Flip Video MinoHD, with its built in USB connector and FlipShare software now included for both Mac and Windows.
This weekend, the Sunday Times InGear supplement gave MinoHD "best buy" with four stars, and BBC2 featured it in the gadget slot of "Something for the Weekend."
Zoo magazine commented that "it features all the brilliance of the
previous Flip but now shoots one hour of 720p high-def footage."

Did you know
that you can save time by requesting a returns number authorisation (RMA) online? Not only is it easier for
you, it is easier for us too, which is why we give priority to RMA requests from
the website.
As you probably know, to request an RMA, you have to give us details of the
invoice on which you have bought goods. Logging into your account
and choosing the "Request an RMA"
tab brings up a list of the invoices you have received in the last
two years from us, and makes it easier for you to select the invoice from which
the return goods came.
Please also note that TomTom is tightening up its returns procedures
and now insists that all units
sent back for return are in the original packaging. We in our turn
have to insist on this too, and units received without boxes will be
rejected.
If you do not know how to log into your account why not read the earlier post on how to set up your web account.
Full details of our returns policy can be found here

The Bebook book reader comes with a library of free books, but despite our attempts to spice them up by calling them the 200 books you must read before you die, they are generally older books, all of which are out of copyright.
But there are more modern books which are available legally and free of charge, on the internet. The small science fiction publisher Baen has run a Free Library for a number of years, explaining with commendable candour that in their view, "losses any author suffers from piracy are almost certainly offset by the additional publicity which, in practice, any kind of free copies of a book usually engenders".
Baen’s library is at http://www.baen.com/library/,
This month the large US publisher Random House has followed suit, giving away science fiction books for download from its corporate blog, at http://www.suvudu.com/freelibrary
Some of the titles available as free ebook downloads from Random House.
